InStar RedStar SBS Adhesive Primer is a rapid-drying, high-performance primer formulated to enhance the adhesion of Elotene DSN and other self-adhesive bituminous membranes to a wide variety of substrates. Made with SBS resins and a non-flammable solvent, it ensures strong, long-term bonding even in low-temperature conditions.
The RedStar Primer is designed specifically for use with Elotene DSN Self-Adhesive Vapour Barriers, offering superior adhesion on concrete, timber, OSB, and other porous substrates. Its SBS resin formulation delivers a durable, flexible bond that enhances both the initial grip and long-term performance of self-adhesive membranes.
Thanks to its rapid-drying, non-flammable composition, RedStar Primer provides a safer, faster application process, especially suitable for projects where open flames are not permitted. It performs consistently even at low application temperatures (+5°C and above), ensuring reliable results in all seasons.
