Roofer’s No.1 VCL Spray Primer is a fast-drying, non-flammable SBS resin primer designed to enhance the adhesion of Roofer’s No.1 VCL and other bituminous membranes to porous substrates such as concrete, timber, and OSB. Supplied in a convenient spray format, it allows for quick, even application and excellent bond strength — even in cooler conditions.
The Roofer’s No.1 VCL Spray Primer is formulated using SBS resins and a non-flammable solvent, ensuring superior adhesion and safer on-site handling. It is specifically engineered to prepare porous or dusty substrates prior to the installation of self-adhesive vapour control layers and bituminous roofing membranes, ensuring long-term performance and adhesion integrity.
This spray-applied primer provides even, controlled coverage and is ideal for both small-scale detailing and large flat roof areas. Its rapid drying time enables faster project turnaround while maintaining high bond strength. Effective even at low application temperatures (+5 °C and above), it ensures consistent results year-round.
