The Elevate Quickseam 6” Batten Cover Strip is a semi-cured EPDM flashing laminated to Quickseam Tape, designed to cover and seal batten strips or to join two sections of Elevate EPDM membrane. Featuring perforated release paper with centering marks for accurate alignment, it ensures fast, clean, and professional installation.

The Quickseam 6” Batten Cover Strip combines semi-cured EPDM with a vulcanised Quickseam Tape backing, creating a versatile product for sealing batten strips and joining adjacent EPDM sheets. The integrated perforated release liner features centering marks, providing a clear visual guide to simplify accurate placement and alignment during application.
This system is designed for use with Elevate Quickprime Plus and applied using Quickscrubber Pads & Handles to ensure optimal surface preparation and long-lasting adhesion.
Surface Preparation
Clean and prime all EPDM and metal surfaces using Elevate Quickprime Plus.
Apply primer with Quickscrubber Pads & Handles to ensure proper adhesion.
Positioning
Align the Quickseam 6” Batten Cover Strip using the centering marks on the release liner as a guide.
Ensure the strip fully covers the batten or EPDM joint area.
Application
Remove the release liner while pressing the strip firmly into place.
Use a hand roller to apply even pressure across the entire strip to ensure full bond contact.
⚠️ Important: Do not stretch the Batten Cover Strip. Always use Elevate Quickprime Plus and Quickscrubber Pads & Handles for correct surface preparation.
