The Elevate QuickPrime Plus Primer is designed to clean and prime EPDM membrane surfaces prior to applying Elevate QuickSeam™ products. Applied using Quickscrubber Pads & Handles, it ensures maximum adhesion for splices, flashing details, and tape-based accessories within the Elevate EPDM roofing system.

QuickPrime Plus Primer is a specially formulated primer developed to clean and activate the surface of Elevate EPDM membranes before applying any QuickSeam™ products — including seam tapes, batten cover strips, and FormFlash. It enhances bonding performance and ensures long-term seam integrity.
Applied with Quickscrubber Pads & Handles, QuickPrime Plus efficiently removes surface oxidation, dust, and contaminants while promoting optimal adhesion for pressure-sensitive materials. Its quick-drying formula provides a reliable working surface in less than 10 minutes under normal conditions.
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, talc, and debris.
Pre-clean with Elevate Splice Wash if heavy contamination or talc residue is present.
Stir QuickPrime Plus thoroughly before and during use.
If stored at low temperatures, restore to room temperature before application.
Pour only the required amount into a secondary container for ease of use — do not return unused primer to the original can.
Apply QuickPrime Plus using a Quickscrubber Pad & Handle.
Use long, firm, back-and-forth strokes along the full length of the area to be primed.
Continue until the surface appears uniform dark grey with no streaks or puddles.
For factory seams, apply both parallel and perpendicular to the seam direction for full coverage.
Allow the primer to dry completely — typically less than 10 minutes.
Test dryness with a clean, dry finger (touch-push test).
Once dry, immediately apply the required QuickSeam™ product (e.g., 3″ Seam Tape, 5″ Flashing Tape, 6″ Batten Cover Strip, 9″ or 12″ FormFlash, etc.).
