Quickseam Formflash 9″

Description

The Quickseam FormFlash 9” is a semi-cured EPDM flashing laminated to a vulcanised Quickseam Tape backing. It is specifically engineered to flash irregular or difficult roof details, including inside and outside corners, pipe penetrations, drain outlets, and other complex shapes within Elevate EPDM roofing systems.

When used in conjunction with Elevate Quickprime Plus and applied using Quickscrubber Pads & Handles, the FormFlash ensures excellent adhesion, flexibility, and long-term weather protection. Its semi-cured formulation allows it to be easily shaped by hand or with gentle heat for a clean, professional installation.

Preparation

Ensure all EPDM and mating surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, and debris.

Apply Elevate Quickprime Plus to all surfaces that will receive FormFlash, using a Quickscrubber Pad & Handle.

Allow the primer to completely dry before installing FormFlash — test for dryness by touching with a clean, dry finger.

Restore the product to room temperature before use if stored below 15 °C for prolonged periods.

Use of alternative primers or cleaners is not permitted.

Application

On cool or cloudy days (ambient temperature below 15 °C), warm the FormFlash gently with a heat gun to improve formability.

On warm, sunny days, pre-heating is typically unnecessary.

Once the primer is dry, remove the release liner and carefully apply the FormFlash to the prepared surface, working gradually to avoid air pockets or wrinkles.

Press and form the material firmly around penetrations or details to ensure complete contact.

Use a hand roller to apply uniform pressure for a secure bond.

⚠️ Important: Always use Elevate Quickprime Plus with this product. Do not substitute with other primers or adhesives.

Avoid contact with petroleum-based materials or solvents.
