Description

The Quickseam FormFlash 12” is a semi-cured EPDM flashing laminated to a vulcanised Quickseam Tape backing. It is engineered to flash inside and outside corners, pipe penetrations, outlets, and other complex roof details within Elevate EPDM roofing systems.

This product combines outstanding flexibility and environmental resistance with a high level of adhesion when installed using Elevate Quickprime Plus and Quickscrubber Pads & Handles. The wider 12” size provides enhanced coverage for larger or more challenging details.

Preparation

Ensure all EPDM and mating surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or contaminants.

Prime all surfaces to receive FormFlash using Elevate Quickprime Plus, applied with a Quickscrubber Pad & Handle.

Allow primer to fully dry before installation — check dryness by touching with a clean, dry finger.

Restore the product to room temperature if stored below 15 °C for extended periods.

Do not use any alternative primers or surface treatments.

Application

On cool or overcast days (ambient temperature below 15 °C), gently warm the FormFlash using a heat gun to improve formability.

On warm, sunny days, pre-heating is typically unnecessary.

Once primer is dry, remove the release liner and carefully position the FormFlash over the prepared area.

Press and shape the flashing firmly into place, ensuring full contact with the substrate.

Use a hand roller to apply consistent pressure and complete the seal.

⚠️ Important: Always use Elevate Quickprime Plus with this product. Do not stretch FormFlash — it is designed for shaping, not elongation.

Not suitable for unprimed or contaminated surfaces.

For best performance, apply above 15 °C, or gently warm the product when cooler.

Precautions & Storage

Store in original unopened packaging between 15–27 °C.

Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.

If stored below 15 °C, restore to room temperature before use.

Do not use petroleum-based products or solvents near this material.

Shelf life: 12 months when stored under recommended conditions.
