The Quickseam 5” Flashing Tape combines a semi-cured EPDM flashing layer with a vulcanised seam tape backing, creating a versatile product for sealing and joining EPDM membranes, flashings, and edge details such as gravel stops or perimeter terminations.
This flashing tape delivers outstanding weatherability and bond strength when used in conjunction with Elevate Quickprime Plus and applied using Quickscrubber Pads with Handles. Its semi-cured composition allows excellent conformity to irregular shapes without overstretching, providing long-term flexibility and watertight integrity.
Surface Preparation
Ensure all mating surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and contaminants.
Clean and prime the surfaces using Elevate Quickprime Plus, applied with Quickscrubber Pads & Handles.
Tape Application
Once the primer is tacky (not wet), position the Quickseam 5” Flashing Tape over the primed surface.
Press the tape firmly into place, ensuring full contact and avoiding wrinkles.
Finishing
Use a roller to apply uniform pressure along the entire tape area.
Do not stretch the tape — its semi-cured formulation is designed for shape conformity, not elongation.
⚠️ Important: Always use Elevate Quickprime Plus with Quickscrubber Pads & Handles when applying this product to ensure correct adhesion. Do not stretch or apply to unprimed surfaces.
